DORAN GARDENS

Doran Gardens, located in Glendale, California, is a 60-unit, mixed income, affordable homeownership project.  The site is just under two acres and is ideally located within a half block of Glendale’s Central Business District.  Homeowners will have easy access to public transportation, the 134 freeway, and are within walking distance to Glendale’s premier retail shopping centers:  the Glendale Galleria and the Americana at Brand.

The 60 units will consist of 57 new Craftsman-style, attached condominium units that will be sold to first-time, moderate-income homebuyers.  The design of the new condominium units was based on the three existing historic Craftsman bungalows currently on the site.  These three homes will be rehabilitated and sold at market rate prices.

Parking for all units will be in a 117 space subterranean garage and a ½ acre landscaped, open space will compliment the site providing play areas and outdoor seating.
